Get Ready for a Summer of Fun in Orange County!

Attention all Orange County residents and visitors! Mark your calendars because the warm, sunny days of summer are bringing a fantastic lineup of free entertainment to the area! Starting from June 6 to August 29, 2025, the County of Orange and OC Parks have got something special lined up with their much-anticipated Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema screenings. And the best part? It won’t cost you a dime!

Concert Fever Hits the Parks!

The Summer Concert Series is all set to rock your Thursdays this summer, with nine free outdoor concerts taking place from June 19 to August 21, every Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Concert enthusiasts can look forward to top-notch musical acts, all hosted at stunning park locations, including:

  • Mile Square Regional Park
  • Mason Regional Park
  • Craig Regional Park
  • Irvine Regional Park
  • Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach

The series will kick off with a bang as the Grammy-award-winning band Ozomatli takes the stage at Mile Square Regional Park on June 19. They’re just the beginning of a star-studded lineup that will have you singing and dancing all summer long!

  • June 26: Doin’ Time – A tribute to Sublime
  • July 10: Flashback Heart Attack – Bringing you 80’s hits
  • July 17: Mariachi Divas – Spreading the love with vibrant tunes
  • July 24: The Pistol Blonde – Female country covers you’ll adore
  • July 31: Dream Like Taylor – A Taylor Swift tribute you won’t want to miss
  • August 7: Elton The Early Years – The iconic sounds of Elton John
  • August 14: No Duh – The Ultimate Tribute to No Doubt
  • August 21: Boy Band Review – Starring the greatest boy band hits, closing out the series at Bluff Park!

Movie Night Magic!

But wait, there’s more! OC Parks isn’t stopping at concerts. They’re also bringing us the Sunset Cinema film series, which features 12 free movie screenings on Friday nights starting June 6. So, grab your friends and family and head out to your local park for some great films under the stars!

Movies will start around 8 p.m., following a lively pre-show of entertainment kicking off at 6 p.m. Expect some fun times with character meet-and-greets and DJ-led games. And guess what? Delicious food trucks will be on-site offering meals for you to indulge in as you settle in for the film!
